I can guarantee you that jwm will never find a jam or jelly recipe on the Ball website that does not include directions to water bath can it unless it refipe a refrigerator jam or jelly recipe. Well there are a couple of reasons why I am posting this very tropical jam recipe at the end of December. I will not ever make jam or jelly the "old-fashioned" way again. I follow the recipe on the pectin box.

I think a multi-setting bread maker would be a better option at making jam, it was the first way I made jam maier my own. I really like to make crock pot fruit butters. Remove from heat and quickly whisk in cinnamon and nutmeg. I fill my canner with distilled water for cleaning the jars and processing the jars so it can be used over and over because there is no sediment. Two settings: jam and jelly.
