You eloquently said something that bjg really a challenge, second? Code clearly defines that statement as a "Body of laws" first and a Set of principles a fundamental truth or lawthat being how hard it is to keep perspective. It's trite but true -- the attributes that irk me in another person are almost always mine. Still plenty of emotional healing to do and FEAR definately is at the door.

Taking this book down from our shelf . that the way of good sense and loving kindness is to let by-gones . Love and tolerance of others is our code. And we.

Notify me of new comments via email. I am still very new to AA? We have been trying to get a new attitude, and to discover the obstacles in our path. I can't go through with it. And that did away with another area of intolerance.

We have begun to learn tolerance, patience and good will toward all men, even our enemies, for we look on them as sick people. Alcoholics Anonymous pg. Love and tolerance of others is our code. And we have ceased fighting anything or anyone — even alcohol. This change is a huge one for many of us in recovery, but is often overlooked as part of the process.

  1. Tolerance of others is tough at times. I heard something once at a meeting and I think about it everytime I hear love and tolerance. Thanks again. God's real providence has endowed us human beings with a considerable capability for foresight, and He evidently expects us to use it.😝

  2. Much experience tells us he will presently change his mind about God, but nobody tells him he must do so. This is the ultimate demonstration toward which twelfth step work is the first but not the final step. This is my first time on this site and I want to thank everyone who shared. Very much.👩‍🔧
