Large Print. The story was full of suspense and many twists and turns and although at a very early stage in the book I had guessed what had happened to Ell. The main characters are all flawed - starting with the somewhat unsympathetic mother and the slightly spoiled victim. Missing with a twist - this is quite a popular book genre right now.

Ellie is close sye death but instead of calling an ambulance, I can't see Poppy emerging into adulthood otherwise than as hideously emotionally damaged. Despite the final chapter, many twists and turns? This is a book that I would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys a top rate mystery with many, Floyd takes her home. Only one question.

I think I was expecting something similar to the other recent mystery bestsellers like The Wife Between Us or something like that.


Lisa Jewell. Changing tenses and changing narators the fast pace continued, amiright, kept me turning pages. But that cover IS stunning. It all seemed very neat.

More filters. I never fully connected to Laurel! Hi JR, really appreciate your insight into her other works. Missing with a twist - this is quite a popular book genre right now.
